About Andrew

Andrew Rose

Andrew Rose is a psychedelic integration coach and educator, certified mindfulness teacher, and strategic consultant with over two decades of experience working with psychedelics, meditation, and contemplative practices. Since 2017, he has educated clinicians, therapists and the public about psychedelics and their therapeutic applications. He maintains a private practice supporting clients around the world with issues related to non-ordinary states of consciousness, spirituality, and wellbeing.

He currently serves as Managing Partner of Refuge Psychology, a Montreal-based community of experiential and psychedelic therapists, and co-hosts the podcast Not Too Tight, Not Too Loose with Dr. Joe Flanders—a conversation about finding balance in the pursuit of wellbeing. He has held strategic leadership roles across psychedelic startups and non-profits in the United States and Canada, including Mindspace, Numinus, Fluence, and the Psychedelic Safety Institute.

Andrew's approach integrates evidence-based modalities with contemplative wisdom and practice.

He is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and has completed MAPS's MDMA-Assisted Therapy for PTSD training. His practice draws from various Buddhist lineages including Tibetan, Theravada, and contemporary pragmatic dharma—as well as Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, mythopoetics, and magick.

In his private practice, Andrew helps clients get unstuck, and transform challenging experiences into opportunities for growth, combining practical integration strategies with deep compassion. He is passionate about furthering our collective understanding of what wellbeing really means, and how it can be effectively and sustainably practiced and communicated for the benefit of all beings.
